The Return of the Dragon Event
Date:
February 14, 2025After nearly three years, Arda’s first-ever custom event has returned—rebuilt from the ground up.
Originally launched in April 2022 as a simple race to kill the Ender Dragon, the Dragon Event quickly became one of the most iconic moments in Arda’s early history. But due to the lack of automation, the event was eventually retired... until now.
We’re proud to announce that the Dragon Event is back—fully automated, massively expanded, and officially part of Arda’s core content lineup.
How it works now:
Players are dropped into a fresh world with a random teammate
Compete to complete as many quests as possible before time runs out or the Ender Dragon is slain
Progress and coordinate using new commands: /quests, /team, /teams, and /teammsg (available only during the event)
Event schedule:
Thursdays at 4pm EST
Sundays at 1pm EST
What’s new since 2022:
Fully automated—no staff needed to run it
Quest-based progression replaces the old kill-race format
Matchmaking system assigns teams instantly
More strategic depth: not just killing the dragon, but completing objectives efficiently
Legacy preserved: The spirit of the original event remains—but now it scales and survives
What started as Arda’s first big experiment has returned as one of its most refined systems.

In this high-stakes combat event, players compete by killing mobs for points. The closer you are to 0,0, the more each kill is worth, pushing players toward the center for greater rewards—and greater risk.
