Introducing the Dragon Event (Beta Test)
Date:
April 6, 2022Today marks a huge milestone in Arda’s development: the launch of our first major custom event—The Dragon Event.
This is the first piece of truly custom content ever created for Arda Anarchy, and it immediately stood out as something special. The event dropped players into a fresh world, pairing them with a random teammate for a single, high-stakes objective:
Be the first team to kill the Ender Dragon.
How it worked (beta version):
Players were assigned a random teammate
Everyone was teleported to a fresh, temporary world
The goal: kill the Ender Dragon before anyone else
No quests, no fancy mechanics—just raw speed, skill, and coordination
The event had to be manually triggered by staff and was not automated
It was simple, brutal, and incredibly fun. This was the first taste of what custom Arda content could become.
The Dragon Event helped shape Arda’s identity and proved we could go far beyond vanilla systems.
How it worked (beta version):
While the original Dragon Event was a success in concept, the lack of automation made it unsustainable. After a handful of manual runs, it became clear the system required more development than we could give at the time. The event was quietly shelved while we focused on building out other core features.
But we never forgot where it started.
On February 14, 2025, the Dragon Event returned—fully automated and reimagined. Now featuring a dynamic quest system, improved reward structure, and smoother matchmaking, it has officially become a permanent part of Arda’s event rotation.
From a race to kill the dragon, to a full PvE quest system—the Dragon Event has evolved.
